Sydney Opera House’s Forecourt will once again become one of the city’s biggest outdoor stages this summer, with Rise Against, Wolf Alice, Spacey Jane, James Blake, DMA’S, Dizzee Rascal and more announced for the 2026 edition of On The Steps.
Returning for its fifth consecutive year, the Live Nation concert series will run across nine nights from December 1st to 12th, bringing a mix of punk, indie rock, electronic, hip hop, country and heavy music to the iconic harbour front venue.
The 2026 On The Steps season will open on December 1st with American punk veterans Rise Against, joined by Dropkick Murphys, before Mercury Prize winner James Blake takes over the Forecourt the following night.
Sydney’s own DMA’S will headline on December 3rd with support from Automatic, while Wolf Alice will arrive on December 4th following their 2026 BRIT Award win for Group of the Year. They’ll be joined by Australian acts Folk Bitch Trio and Swapmeet.
Things shift towards grime and UK rap on December 5th, when Dizzee Rascal headlines a bill features Example, ArrDee and Swaglord Savannah, before American country singer-songwriter Dylan Gossett performs on December 6th.
Spacey Jane will then play two nights on December 10th and 11th, with Telenova and Armlock supporting both shows. The dates had previously sold out, but additional tickets have now been released after changes to the capacity allowed for major outdoor events at the Opera House Forecourt.
Australian post-hardcore mainstays The Amity Affliction will close out the first run of announced shows with their previously-announced exclusive show on December 12th.

The additional ticket release follows NSW Government changes allowing crowds of up to 7,000 people for major concerts on the Forecourt, increasing the number of fans able to attend this year’s series.
Live Nation expects more than 50,000 people to attend the 2026 season of On The Steps.
“On The Steps is always a privilege to deliver, and it’s incredible that in our fifth year we’re able to welcome more fans than ever to each show,” Live Nation Australia promoter Mike Ross said.
“We’re proud of this first release of acts playing the series, and are working on more shows to be announced in coming months.”
