Dijon will make his long-awaited Australian debut this December, locking in his first headline shows alongside his appearance at Meredith Music Festival.
The American singer-songwriter and producer will kick off his run – presented by Handsome Tours and Astral People – at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on December 9th before heading to Meredith Music Festival on December 11th, featuring on the lineup alongside Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Fcukers, Show Me the Body, Hana Stretton, and more.
He’ll then play the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on December 12th and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on December 15th.
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday, August 28th, following a presale from 9am on Wednesday, August 26th. All times are AEST. Sign up for presale here.
The tour follows the release of Dijon’s second album, Baby, which arrived last year as the follow-up to his acclaimed 2021 debut, Absolutely. Dijon largely recorded Baby at home after stepping away from the public eye to start a family, working with a small group of collaborators including Andrew Sarlo, Henry Kwapis and Michael Gordon, better known as Mk.gee.
The 12-track record explores new fatherhood and the upheaval that came with the major shift in his personal life. The album arrived without advance singles or a traditional promotional rollout, instead following a cryptic tracklist reveal and countdown on Dijon’s website.

It marked his first full-length release since Absolutely, which earned widespread acclaim upon its release and helped establish Dijon as one of alternative R&B’s most distinctive voices. Its accompanying live performances also became a major part of the record’s identity, including the Absolutely film and a performance of “Big Mike’s” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Dijon has remained busy outside his own music in recent years. He appeared on Bon Iver’s SABLE, fABLE and worked with Justin Bieber on “DEVOTION” from SWAG, earning Grammy nominations for Album of the Year and Producer of the Year earlier this year.
His Australian dates come amid a busy run of international performances with his six-piece band, following appearances at festivals including Outside Lands, Sziget, All Points East, and Forwards Festival Bristol.
